Announced on November 5, FPT’s AI Notebook leverages the supercomputing infrastructure of FPT AI Factory and the open-source JupyterLab architecture, providing a pre-configured AI development environment with multiple high-performance GPU options, primarily powered by NVIDIA GPUs.Users can initiate, experiment, and fine-tune AI models, though GPU usage requires a fee.

Compared to traditional JupyterLab management, AI Notebook simplifies deployment and infrastructure management, helping shorten the AI testing–training cycle and accelerate idea realization. The platform also enables AI Labs to be linked into collaborative workspaces, allowing multiple projects to run in parallel under unified management.

AI Notebook users can select configurations using NVIDIA H100 or H200 chips, depending on model requirements or development stages. According to FPT, the system operates on NVIDIA’s standard infrastructure, ensuring safety and data security.

Le Hong Viet, FPT’s representative, said AI Notebook aims to provide essential tools for researchers, engineers, lecturers, and students to test, train, and fine-tune AI models.

“By removing infrastructure and budget barriers, educational institutions and research centers can develop AI more effectively and cost-efficiently, fostering innovation and technological self-reliance,” he stated.

FPT is expanding its AI-related services for diverse user groups. Since early this year, the company has launched several AI-powered solutions — such as AI Studio and FPT AI Inference (introduced in May) — that allow engineers and developers to adjust, deploy, and train AI models for practical applications.
It has also introduced AI security solutions, AI-based application monitoring platforms, and the FPT Access Control System chip, which is integrated into ID verification devices and mobile hardware presented at the Hanoi Convention last month.

In August, FPT put into operation FPT Fornix HCM02, its largest data center to date, with a capacity of 3,600 racks, serving AI, cloud, and digital transformation platforms. AI is expected to become a competitive advantage helping FPT achieve its goal of US $5 billion in overseas IT service revenue by 2030.
